Hey everybody! So I had to design a pattern for myself, because a friend of mine requested a dragonfly plush. So this is what I came up with! I hope you all enjoy it, and I will be including the instructions so you can make one yourself!
It is only about 6 inches long when fully completed.
I also used a 2.00 or B sized crochet hook.

Crochet terms:

sc - single crochet
dec - decrease
st - stitch
sl st - slip stitch
inc - increase
R - row

Any numbers in (10) like so - designate how many stitches you should have at the end of that row.
Also to be noted, this is a work done in continuous rows, using a stitch marker such as a piece of yarn or a safety pin - as I like to do.
If you have any questions, please feel free to send me a message and ask, I will get back to anyone who does so as soon as I can.
Enjoy!

Body:
R1. magic circle of 5 stitches (5)
R2. 2sc in each st. (10)
R3. sc 4, inc, repeat all the way around. (12)
R4-5. sc around. (12)
R6. sc 4, dec, repeat. (10)
R7. sc 3, dec, repeat (8)
R8. sc around. (8)
R9. sc 3, inc, repeat. (10)
R10-17. sc around. (10)
R18. sc 3, dec. repeat. (8)
R19. sc around. (8)
R20. sc 2, dec. repeat. (6)
R21-30. sc around. (6)
sl st into next st.
Finish off, weave left over yarn into body.

Larger Wings (Make 2)
R1: magic circle of 5 (5)
R2: 2 sc in each sc around. (10)
R3: sc 1, inc in next sc, rep 5 times. (15 sts)
R4-8: sc around (15)
R9: sc 3, dec, rep 3 times. (12)
R10-11: sc around (12)
R12: sc 2, dec, rep 3 times (9)
R13-15: sc around (9)
Fasten off and leave long end for sewing.

Smaller Wings (Make 2)
R1. magic circle of 5 (5)
R2. 2 sc in each st. (10)
R3. sc 4, inc. (12)
R4-6. sc around. (12)
R7. sc 2, dec. (9)
R8-10. sc around. (9)
Fasten off - leave long tail for sewing.

Attach the wings as you see fit, there is no real science to it, just figuring out where you think is best and sewing them on with a yarn needle.

I made two small legs for the dragonfly, but they were simple. All you have to do is chain 11, and work your way back up the chain, leaving a long enough tail to fasten them on with. And the two pearl buttons I just found in my family button jar, but you can use any type you'd like, even safety eyes if you have small enough ones.

If you liked my work, and want to use this pattern to make something of your own, please feel free, though I would appreciate being credited for my work in making the pattern.
Happy crafting!
